Crown Milk Pvt. Ltd. is located at C-169 in the Phase-Viii B Industrial Area of Sas Nagar. It is a standard industrial plot with a big shed for the processing units. We have been here for a few years now. The facility runs almost all the time because the milk arrives early in the morning and late at night. There is always the sound of water being sprayed to keep the floors clean. Our office is a small room with a window that looks out onto the main floor. It is quite loud, so we have to talk loudly to be heard. We have metal desks and some old filing cabinets that don't close properly. Dealing with dairy means everything is on a tight schedule. We can't really afford to have the machines break down. We have a small group of workers who handle the pasteurization and the packing. Most of them have been with us since we opened this site. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone visits, they usually just come straight into the office. The yard is big enough for two large trucks, but it gets crowded when the smaller vans arrive for their pickups. We don't do anything special for marketing. We just make sure the milk is ready when the drivers show up. It is a busy, messy, and very loud place to work, but we are used to it.
