Sharma Fly Ash Bricks

Our business, Sharma Fly Ash Bricks, is located in Kansbahal within the Sundargarh area. We are actually quite close to the big Larsen & Toubro corporate company site. It is a bit of a contrast, having their big place near our brick yard, but it works out. We focus specifically on fly ash bricks. It is a bit different from the traditional red bricks people are used to. Working with fly ash can be a bit messy, and we usually end up covered in it by lunchtime. Sundargarh is a good place to be based. We have a lot of space to keep our machines and the finished stacks. We aren't a big operation with lots of managers. It is just a few of us making sure the bricks are shaped and dried correctly. We spend our days outside for the most part. When the trucks come in to load up, things get pretty hectic for a while. Then it settles back down. We don't have a fancy office or anything. If you need to talk to us, you just come down to the yard in Kansbahal. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It is hard work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the piles of bricks grow. We just take things as they come and try to keep the workflow steady.
