About J.R.S International School – Education in Rohtas
Out in Zakhi Bigha, which is part of the Rohtas district, our school stands as a local fixture. It is tucked away a bit from the main hustle, providing a decent spot for the kids to spend their day. The building has several floors with classrooms that look out over the local fields and houses. Most of the staff comes in from the nearby towns, and we all know the routine by heart now. We start the day with an assembly in the open space out front where the kids line up by height. The desks are the standard wooden kind, and there’s always a bit of chalk dust in the air near the front of the rooms. We don't go in for anything too fancy or modern; it’s just a place for reading, writing, and arithmetic. During the breaks, you'll see the older kids sitting on the steps talking while the younger ones zoom around the yard. Rohtas can be quite peaceful, and we try to keep that vibe inside the school as well. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. It is a very normal, local school where we try to keep things organized without making it too stressful for anyone. Parents often drop by to chat with the principal or pay fees, and it feels like everyone in Zakhi Bigha is connected to us in some way.
