Our school has been sitting on Omb Road for a long time now. Sasaram is a pretty busy place, and we are right in the middle of all the daily activity. People around here generally know where the building is. We open up the gates early every morning before the sun gets too high. Some of the kids walk here from the houses nearby, while others have to take a rickshaw from further out in town. The building itself is nothing fancy, just a plain structure that does the job. Inside, the classrooms have benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. They are sturdy enough, though. There is always a lot of noise during the breaks. That is just part of having a bunch of children in one spot. We try to keep things organized as best as we can. The teachers show up and get through their lessons every day. Sometimes the fans make a clicking sound when it gets really hot in the summer months. We have a small area outside where the kids run around. It isn't a massive playground, just a space for them to stretch their legs or sit in the shade. The walls have some old paint and a few marks. We keep the registers updated and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the bell is a bit late because the person in charge got distracted, but we catch up. We have a small gate that needs oiling because it squeaks every time someone comes in.
