Sum Cafestrav

Being out here on the Rohtak Gohana Road means we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by on NH-71a. We are located right at Bhainswala Chownk. It’s a bit of a dusty area because of all the construction and the highway traffic. Sum Cafestrav is basically where people stop when they are tired of driving. We don't have any big signs that light up the whole sky, just our place by the road. Most mornings start with the sound of horns and the wind blowing across the open fields nearby. We spend a lot of time sweeping out the dust that blows in from the highway. It’s a simple setup. People come in, sit for a few minutes, have something, and then hit the road again. We see a lot of regulars who drive this route every day. The weather in Rohtak can be tough, either really hot or quite cold in the winter. We just keep the stove going. It’s not a place where you’d find fancy chairs or anything like that. We just have what’s needed. The Chownk is always busy with people switching directions. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic during the slow hours in the afternoon. It's a plain building, but it serves its purpose for the travelers on the Rohtak-Gohana stretch. We just do our work and keep things going day after day without making much of a fuss.
