If you head down to the Purani Galla Mandi in the Rewa district, you will find us at Shop No.38. Ram Avtar Gupta Traders has been a part of this old market for quite some time. We are located right near the MPEB office, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find your way through the narrow lanes. The market is always full of energy, with trucks bringing in goods and people bargaining over prices. Our shop is a humble space filled with whatever we are trading at the moment. It gets dusty and loud, but that is the reality of working in a mandi. We know most of the other traders around here, and we often help each other out when things get hectic. My family has been involved in this for a long time, and we just keep the tradition going without much fuss. We do not spend money on fancy signs or marketing tricks. We just open up the shutters every morning and wait for the customers to arrive. Dealing with the paperwork and the accounts takes up a lot of our time, but we enjoy the rhythm of the market. It is a hard life sometimes, especially in the heat, but the community in Purani Galla Mandi makes it worth it. We just focus on being fair and keeping the business running smoothly day after day without any big corporate goals.
