It’s a very specific spot, and most people around here know the temple well. We work out of Jagdish Narayan’s place there. Being so close to the temple means it’s usually quite peaceful, except when there’s a festival or a big crowd. We focus on the local farmers and their needs. It’s a community-driven company, started because we all needed a better way to handle our produce. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us who know the local land and the people who work it. The office is pretty simple, mostly just a place to sit and talk through the season’s plans. We don't use any fancy business talk. We just say things as they are. Dealing with crops and weather is hard enough without making the business side complicated. We’ve stayed at the Mehluwa Chouraha location because it’s a natural meeting point for everyone. If you’re passing by the temple compound, you’ll likely see some of us hanging around or working on the ledgers. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood. We like it that way. Even the stray dogs in the compound seem to know us by now. It is home to us.
