Enet Computers

Down in Dapoli at the Nandashree Apartment, we have our shop, Enet Computers, at Shop No. 2. We are in the Family-Mal area. It’s a bit of a different pace of life here compared to the big cities. People bring in their computers because they’ve stopped working or they need something new installed. I spend a lot of time at the workbench with small screwdrivers and a magnifying glass. The shop is often filled with old CPU towers and tangled wires. It can get a bit messy, but I know where everything is. Sometimes the internet goes down in the area and then everyone comes in asking what happened. I also sell things like mouse pads, keyboards, and pen drives. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep because of all the dust that blows in from the street. Dapoli can be quite rainy, so we have to make sure the roof doesn't leak near the electronics. It’s a small operation and I usually work by myself or with one helper. Customers are mostly students or people who work in the local offices. They just want their machines to work so they can get back to their own jobs. I’ve been fixing things here for a while and it’s just what I know how to do. It’s quiet work, but it keeps me busy enough, especially when the school season starts and everyone needs a laptop repair.
