Deepak Wire Industries

Deepak Wire Industries is over at 25, Ram Baug, right in the Collectorate Area. It’s an older part of town, so the roads are a bit narrow and things are pretty cramped. We’ve been making wires here for a long time. You can see the spools stacked up everywhere if you walk into the shop. It’s not a fancy setup. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that money on keeping the machines running smooth. Being near the Collectorate means there’s always people moving about. We handle a lot of copper and aluminum, turning them into whatever gauges the customers need. Sometimes the machines are a bit temperamental, but we know how to fix them up. We don't go for big advertisements or fancy brochures. People usually find us because a neighbor or another shop told them where we are. It’s a small team, mostly just a few guys who have been doing this for years. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. That’s just the way it works at our place in Ram Baug. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we stay the same. We just want to make good wire that doesn't break. It’s a simple goal, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening every single day. Most days are pretty long, but we like the work. It’s a honest way to earn a living.
