We’ve been here in Ward No. 23 for a while now. Most people know us because we’re right by Taaj Stone, which is a big landmark around Chamaria Naka. If you’re coming from the Phool Mandi side, you’ll probably smell the flowers before you see our shop. It gets a bit busy around here, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. Our place is full of hardware stuff and P.O.P. supplies. There’s usually some white dust on the floor because that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with plaster and building materials every day. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the shelves stocked with whatever the local contractors or homeowners might need for their projects. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it. We just open up the doors and start the day. Most of the people who come in are locals from around the neighborhood. They stop by, ask if we have a specific part or some bags of P.O.P., and we go find it in the back. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock, but we know where everything is kept. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to pick up a few things they forgot for their job site.
