S.R.M College Of Education is situated on the Main Road in Rajyalaxmi Nagar 2. We are out in the Gurram Guda area which is part of Rangareddy. It is a bit of a drive from the main city but it's a growing neighborhood with a lot of new construction happening nearby. Our college is where people come when they want to become teachers. The building is a simple multi-story structure with wide hallways and lots of windows. We have several classrooms where we do the lectures and a small lab for the practical stuff. It’s not a fancy place but it serves its purpose for the students. People come from all over the district and some even travel quite a distance on the public bus every day. We have a small staff that manages the admissions and the daily schedules. Things can get a bit disorganized during exam season with all the paperwork and seating arrangements. We don't use a lot of corporate language or big promises here. We just provide the space and the materials for the students to finish their degrees. The area outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up but inside we try to keep things orderly. There are a few trees in the courtyard where students sit and talk during their breaks. It is a straightforward environment for anyone who is serious about a career in teaching. We are just here doing the daily work.
