The Icfai University

The Icfai University is situated out at Survey No 156/157 in Shankarpalli, which is part of the Rangareddy district. We are specifically located in Dontanapally Village. It’s quite a way out from the main city center of Hyderabad, which means it’s much quieter and has a different pace of life. The campus is spread out over a good amount of land, and you have to do a bit of walking to get from one department to another. We spend our days managing the administrative side of things or helping students find their way around. The roads leading out to Shankarpalli have improved over the years, but it’s still a bit of a trek for those coming from the city. We have a lot of people living on-site, so the place never really feels empty, even in the evenings. It’s not a flashy, high-tech looking place from the outside, but it’s got everything needed for the thousands of people who come here every day. The weather out here in Dontanapally can feel a bit cooler than the city, which is nice in the summer. We don’t bother with much corporate talk; we just focus on the daily operations and making sure the classes and exams happen when they are supposed to. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep things feeling organized and simple for everyone involved. There is always someone walking across the lawns to a lecture.
