Sikhwal Minerals

Down here at 281/A in the I.D.A Kaikondagudam area, things are always moving. Sikhwal Minerals is basically a place where we handle a lot of raw materials coming in from the mines. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s not exactly the cleanest place to work, but we are used to the dirt and the noise of the machinery. We have been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most days start early with trucks waiting outside the gate. We have to get them unloaded and then start the sorting. It’s a lot of physical work, and the sun gets pretty brutal in this part of town. The shed we have here is large enough for the equipment, but it still feels cramped when we have a big shipment arrive. People around here know us as the place that deals with the heavy stuff. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the logs. Kaikondagudam is full of workshops, so we fit right in with the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating but it gives us a break. We just focus on getting the minerals processed and loaded back out to the customers. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don’t really have a lot of visitors, just the drivers and the occasional supplier stopping by to check on the stock levels and the equipment.
