Ratna Minerals

Ratna Minerals is based over at Dr.No. 14-83 in the Serry area of Durga Colony. We are located in Ibrahimpatnam, which is a place that sees a lot of truck traffic. Our office is not anything fancy at all. It is mostly just a place where we keep our logbooks and handle the phone calls coming in. Dealing with minerals is a messy business and there is always a layer of fine dust on everything, including my desk. I have been doing this for a long time now and my boots are always dirty by the end of the day. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the drivers and making sure the loads are right. The sun gets really strong out here in Durga Colony, so we drink a lot of tea from the stall across the road to keep going. Sometimes the trucks get delayed because of the narrow roads or the rain, and then things get a bit stressful. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us managing the paperwork and the yard. It is hard work and the hours can be long if a shipment is late. We don't have a website or do any advertising. People around here just know us for the mineral work we do. It’s a straightforward business and we just focus on getting the daily tasks finished before it gets dark.
