Niraj International School

Niraj International School is situated out at 132 and 133 in Kandlakoya. We’re about five kilometers away from Dhola-Ri-Dhani, so it’s quite a bit further out than most people expect. The drive out here is actually quite nice once you get past the main highway traffic. It’s much quieter than being in the middle of Hyderabad. We have a good amount of space on the grounds, which is helpful for all the activities we have going on. The school building is large and has a lot of windows that let in the light. In the mornings, you can hear the birds before the students start arriving. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just a group of educators and workers trying to keep everything running smoothly. The office can get a bit chaotic during admissions time, with papers everywhere and the phone ringing constantly. We just take it one day at a time. The teachers here have a lot of patience, which they need when dealing with energetic kids all day. We have a canteen that smells like sambar around noon, and that’s when everyone takes a break. It’s a bit of a commute for some, but the peaceful environment makes it worth it. We just provide a place for kids to learn their subjects and spend time with their friends without the distractions of the busy city center.
