At Saijayani Snacks Pvt. Ltd., our daily life revolves around the smell of spices and the sound of packing machines. We are based out in Keesara Dayara Village at Syno 1, within the Keesara Mandal. It's a bit of a drive from the main city, but it's a good spot for a small factory. We spend our mornings getting the ingredients ready and our afternoons bagging up the snacks. There is always a layer of flour or seasoning on the floor by the end of the shift. We aren't some massive corporation with shiny offices; we are just a group of people making snacks in a shed. The machines are noisy, and it gets quite hot near the fryers. We have a small team, and everyone knows what they need to do. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of the time, we are just worried about the next batch coming out right. Sometimes the packaging rolls get stuck or a delivery truck is late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It's a busy environment, and there is always something that needs cleaning. We just focus on making the snacks and getting them out to the shops. It’s practical, everyday work that keeps the local community involved. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when the first batch is done and the place starts to cool off.
