Akshaya Swagruha Foods

We started Akshaya Swagruha Foods in Yellareddyguda near the water tank because we wanted to share the kind of food we grew up eating at home. It’s a busy lane, and we’re right there in the middle of it. Mostly, people come in for traditional sweets or pickles when they don't have time to make them themselves. We keep things pretty simple here. There isn't a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the oil is fresh and the ingredients are okay. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. The kitchen is always going, and there's usually a smell of something being fried or sugar syrup boiling. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the recipes the same as they’ve always been. Nothing fancy, just snacks that taste right. If you’re around the Yellareddy Guda lane, you’ll see our sign. We've been in this spot for a while now. Some days are faster than others. We just focus on getting the food packed up and ready for whoever stops by. It isn't a huge operation, just a local place making food that people recognize from their own kitchens. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our little shop.
