Srinu Mudavath

Being out in Megili Thanda means you have to be a bit more self-reliant than folks in the city. Our place at 1-23 in Gattu Ippalapalle Village is where Srinu Mudavath manages the daily business. It’s a quiet area in the Talakondapalle Mandal and most people around here are involved in some kind of farming or local trade. We started this small operation just to fill a gap we saw in the community. It’s not a grand office with glass windows, just a sturdy building that stays cool enough in the summer heat. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who stop by from the thanda. Life here is connected to the seasons and the district's rhythm. You learn to fix things yourself when they break and you learn who you can count on for a hand. We don't use any of those marketing tricks to get customers. If you do a decent job, people remember your name and come back the next time they need something. That is the only way we know how to run things. It’s honest and it’s direct. Some days are slow and we just sit outside and watch the goats go by, but that’s okay too. We have been here for a long time and we don't plan on going anywhere else. It is just home and it is where we do our work.
