My name is Surender and I’m based out of house 1-123 in Sai Dhoni Gadda Thanda. This is in the Ravalkole area, specifically Medchal mandal. The pin code is 501401 if you’re looking for it. I’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Medchal has changed a lot lately, getting more crowded and busy, but our thanda still feels like home. I do my work right from here. It’s mostly manual or local stuff that requires me to be on my feet. I don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. My office is my porch or the shade of the tree outside. I’ve learned that if you do a decent job, people will come back. I don't need to shout about what I do. My neighbors know me as Surender and they know I’m reliable. I try to keep my tools in good shape and my schedule clear. Some days are long, especially when there’s a lot of demand in Ravalkole. But I like the work. It keeps me active and connected to the people around here. I’m just a local guy trying to make ends meet and provide for my family. House 1-123 is where I grew up and it's where I’ll stay. Life is simple if you don't overcomplicate it. The air in Ravalkole is still better than in the middle of the city. I sometimes go for a walk in the fields to clear my head before I start. My neighbors often bring over tea. It is that kind of place.
