Sri Durga Industries

Sri Durga Industries sits at H. No. 12-1-24 in Venkatdri Nagar Colony. We are right near the Hanumantemple in Meerpet, so we hear the temple bells throughout the day. The workshop is a bit noisy because of the machines running. We do a lot of small-scale industrial work here in the Saroorgnagar area. It is mostly routine stuff, making parts or handling materials for other businesses. The floor is concrete and can get pretty dusty with all the metal or wood shavings around. We have a few guys working the machines who have been with us for a long time. It’s not a corporate place. We talk to each other over the noise and take our tea breaks under the shade outside. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait around for it to come back so we can finish the orders. Customers usually just walk in and talk to us directly about what they need. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a lot of papers and files on it. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock waiting to go out, but we manage. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done without much fuss. It’s a plain, working-class shop that serves the local needs around here.
