Annojguda is where we set up Aravind Flexi Pack India Pvt. Ltd. at Dno 5/3/1. It’s right there in Ghatkesar. The area has changed a lot lately with more traffic and buildings going up. We spend most of our time dealing with the packing materials. There are rolls of plastic and film everywhere you look. The floor is usually covered in some scraps. It gets pretty loud when all the machines are running at once, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We’ve got a small team here. Most of the guys live nearby so they just bike in. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us loading a truck or checking the stock. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks that have seen better days. We deal with a lot of local orders. People need bags and wraps for all sorts of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s just part of working here. We keep the machines running as much as we can. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving heavy rolls around. Ghatkesar is a good spot for us because of the road access. We just keep at it, day after day. It is a lot of work but it keeps the lights on.
