We have our desks, some chairs for visitors, and plenty of shelf space for all the files we accumulate. We don't go in for anything too fancy because we’re more concerned with getting the orders out and the records straight. It’s a small group of us here. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs to happen and then we just get to it. The road near the plot is sometimes a bit bumpy, but it’s easy enough for trucks to get in when they need to. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking our emails. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds in the morning before the traffic really kicks in. We handle the pharmaceutical business as best as we can from this location. We don’t have any big corporate mission statements on the walls. We just believe in showing up and doing the job right. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn’t too bad, which helps everyone stay in a decent mood. We just keep our heads down and work.
