Kusuma Shyambabu

Our place is at H No 12-225 in Adarsh Nagar, right opposite the IDPL Colony in Quthubullapur. The main thing we do here is transport hiring services. It’s a busy kind of life because transport never really stops. We are always coordinating where the trucks and vehicles need to be. The house serves as our base of operations. It’s a bit of a mix between a home and an office. You’ll see a lot of drivers coming and going, checking their schedules or just having a glass of water before heading out again. Adarsh Nagar is a decent area, though the roads can get a bit muddy when it rains. We have a lot of paperwork because of the vehicle registrations and permits, so there are stacks of files everywhere. Kusuma Shyambabu is a small family-run kind of thing, so it doesn't feel like a cold corporate office. There’s usually a pot of tea on the stove. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones, talking to drivers who are out on the road. It can be stressful when a vehicle breaks down or there’s a delay, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People in the IDPL area just know us by word of mouth. It’s honest work, keeping things moving across the district and making sure the drivers stay safe.
