Tripti Store

We’re situated right on Club Road in Ranchi, just across from Angithi Restaurant. Tripti Store is a pretty straightforward place. We handle general goods that people around here need on a daily basis. Since we are in the 834001 area, we see a lot of people coming and going from the nearby offices and houses. The shop gets a bit of a breeze because of how the road is situated, which is nice during the summer months. We stock everything from notebooks and pens to flour and pulses. It’s mostly just us keeping the place tidy and making sure the stock doesn't run too low. Sometimes the deliveries arrive at odd hours and we have to scramble to move heavy bags inside. The shelves are made of dark wood and they’ve started to sag a little under the weight of all the jars and tins. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights to attract people. Folks just know we are here and what we sell. A lot of our time goes into chatting with the regulars who stop by after eating across the street. We know who wants which brand of biscuit without them even asking us. It’s a quiet kind of rhythm we have here in Ranchi. We open up, sweep the front step, and start the day. There’s always something to count or a shelf to reorganize. It’s just how we run things on Club Road every day.
