We have been here in Bariatu for quite some time now. Most people know the building. It gets a bit busy around here during the evenings when everyone is out on the street. Inside the shop, things stay mostly organized but sometimes piles of stock take up more room than they really should. My brother helps out on the weekends when I need to go out for errands or pick up new things. We don't really have a big staff or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure everything is in its place for the customers. People come in and ask for items, and we try to find what they need. Sometimes we have to look in the back room if it is not sitting right there on the shelf. The floor gets dusty because of the road outside, so we are always sweeping throughout the day. It is a simple life running a business in Ranchi. You get to know the neighbors and the regular faces who stop by every Tuesday or Wednesday. We keep a ledger for things but mostly it is just memory and talking to people. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so the fan is always running in the corner. We don't have a fancy website or anything. If you are around Bariatu, you probably passed by the sign. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is not a very big space but it works for us.
