Tarapore & Company

At Tarapore & Company, we are currently set up in the office of Mr. M.B. Mehr, who is an advocate here in Ranchi. You can find us at his place in Bariatu, which is a nice and quiet part of the city. We have our own section where we handle all of our daily tasks and paperwork. It is not a very big space, but it is enough for what we need to do. The building is older and has that solid feel to it, which we like. Being in Ranchi means we have to deal with the occasional heavy rains, and the yard sometimes gets a bit muddy, but we just wipe our feet and carry on. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. Just a small nameplate so people know they are in the right spot. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Jharkhand. We just want to do our work without any unnecessary fuss. Most of our day is spent at our desks, talking to people who drop in or sorting through our files. We have been operating this way for a while now and it seems to work well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. We treat each other like neighbors more than just coworkers. It’s a very straightforward and practical way of running things. We appreciate the stability of being in a well-established area like Bariatu.
