Shanti Associates

We are set up in the Shanti Complex, which is right by the Dhurwa Bus Stand at house number Biii- 580. Being so close to the bus stand means it is always noisy and there is always something going on. You can usually find us by looking for Shanti Medical Hall, we are right near there. Shanti Associates is a small operation, really. We spend a lot of our time dealing with local people who are passing through or live in the Dhurwa area. The office is small but we’ve made it work over the years. We keep a lot of records and files on the shelves that line the walls. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us some chai while we are working. We do various bits of associate work, helping people out with what they need. It isn’t high-tech or anything. We still use a lot of paper and ink. People know they can just drop in if they have a question. There’s no need for fancy appointments most of the time. We know the shopkeepers around here well. It’s a community, and we are just one small part of it. The bus horn sounds are basically the background music for our workday. Sometimes the monkeys even hang around the roof of the complex, which makes for a bit of a distraction.
