State Food Drug Laboratory

The State Food Drug Laboratory is located over in Namkum. We are positioned near the Rcs Campus, which is a fairly large area. It’s a bit of a drive from the center of town, but it’s a lot quieter out here. The building itself is a government-style structure, nothing fancy to look at. We spend our time here doing tests and checking things that come through the door. It’s a lot of technical work, but we are just regular people doing our jobs. The lab has a lot of equipment that we have to keep clean and calibrated. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and it takes us a while to get through it all. There’s a small canteen nearby where we usually get our lunch. The trees around the campus provide some nice shade during the hot months. We don't really have customers in the traditional sense; it’s more about the samples and the reports we have to file. It’s a steady routine every day. We arrive in the morning, put on our coats, and start the testing process. It can be a bit repetitive, but it’s important work for the state. We’ve been at this location for a long time. The hallways are long and a bit echoing. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized.
