Our business is tucked away in Village Sisai, specifically in the Tola-Sisai area near Jantabazar. We run things out of a space owned by Parvati Devi. It’s a proper rural setting, which makes sense because we are involved in farming and food. We aren't city people with fancy suits; we spend most of our time dealing with the actual crops and the folks who grow them. Being in Panch-Sisai means we are right in the middle of where the food actually comes from. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you aren't from the area. We focus on healthy food, which to us just means stuff that’s grown right. Our setup is pretty simple. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the village life around us, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a marketing department. We just talk to the local farmers and try to get their products to a wider market. It’s hard work, and some days are better than others, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate with the harvest. We started this because we wanted to see our village do better. We use local labor and try to keep things as straightforward as possible. It’s not a polished operation, but we are proud of the work we do here. If you visit, you'll see a lot of bags and people busy with manual work. It's just a regular local business trying to do right by the land.
