We’ve been at Roshpa Tower for a while now. It’s right on Ranchi Main Road, so it gets pretty busy outside with all the cars and people going to the CN Tower across the way. Sahaj Vermi Products is basically just us working with organic stuff. We deal with vermicompost and things for the soil because that’s what we know. My desk is usually covered in some papers and maybe a bit of dust from the samples. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we handle the orders and talk to people about their gardens or farms. Some days the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. We started this because we saw a lot of people needed better stuff for their plants without all the chemicals. It’s been a learning process. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the stock. Ranchi gets quite hot in the summer, so the office is a nice place to hide for a bit. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us trying to get things done right. If you’re around the Main Road area, you’ve probably passed our building a dozen times. We just keep things simple here and try to make sure the products are what they should be. It’s quiet work mostly, but we enjoy it.
