You can find us in the Radha Gouri Building, which is right near Goushala Chowk in Upper Bazar. Deepa Banka is the one who runs Radha Nandini Couture from the second floor. Being in Upper Bazar means it’s always crowded and very noisy outside. There are so many people and vehicles that it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. The building is older, and our space on the second floor is where all the work happens. It’s more of a workshop than a fancy boutique. We have sewing machines going and piles of cloth everywhere. We don't have a glossy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a place where people work hard on making clothes. We source many of our materials from the markets right downstairs. It’s very convenient, even if the traffic is a mess. We aren't a big corporate entity. We’re just a local business that focuses on the craft of making clothes. Sometimes the workspace is a bit of a jumble with threads and pins, but that’s how we know things are getting done. We don't have any big slogans. We just try to make things that look nice and fit well. Deepa is usually there to oversee everything and make sure the quality is right. It’s a busy, cramped environment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep doing what we do, day after day.
