Pragati Refractories & Minerals

You can find us at Plot No. 95 in the Tupudana Hatia area. It’s an industrial patch, so there’s always noise and trucks moving around. We work with refractories and minerals, which basically means we deal with a lot of heavy, heat-resistant materials all day. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and by the evening, everything is covered in a fine layer of grit. My father started things here and now we just keep it going as best as we can. We have a few sheds where we store the minerals and a small space where we handle the paperwork. It’s nothing fancy, just some desks and a lot of ledgers. People from the local factories come by when they need specific materials for their furnaces. We talk to them, figure out what they need, and get it loaded up. Sometimes it takes longer than expected if the supply is short, but we try to be straight with everyone. The sun gets really hot on the tin roofs here during the summer, so we start early to beat the heat. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of guys who know how to handle the heavy bags. It’s just a regular business in a busy part of Hatia. We stay busy with the day-to-day tasks and don't worry too much about the rest.
