At Novakem Pharma, we’re situated out in Prya Simaria, which is part of the Hazaribagh area. Being a bit further out means we have to be really careful about our stock because the delivery trucks don't come by as often as they do in the city center. We spend a good chunk of our time checking our lists and making sure we haven't run out of the important stuff. The building is simple, nothing to look at from the outside, but inside we keep it as tidy as we can manage. There’s always a bit of dust because of the road nearby, but that’s just life in Simaria. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit on while they wait for us to find their items in the back room. Most of our day is spent looking through ledgers or stocking the glass cabinets. It’s quiet in the mornings, then picks up once the sun starts going down. We’ve lived around Hazaribagh for a long time, so we know most of the families that come through the door. It isn't a high-tech operation, just us and the medicine. We try to keep the lights on even when the weather is bad and the roads get muddy. It’s important for the people here to have a place they can walk to. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a lot of long hours but the routine feels familiar and steady.
