Neelam Verma

This is a small setup on Circular Road in Ranchi. It’s one of the main roads in the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside. Being at 834001 means we are right in the center of things. The office isn't very large. It’s just a room with some desks and chairs. We don't have a lot of staff. It's a very personal way of working. People come in for consultations or to drop off papers. Circular Road is full of shops and offices, so we fit right in. There isn't any big sign outside, just a small nameplate. We like it that way. It’s more private. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy. We spend most of the day answering calls or meeting with people who have appointments. Since we are in Ranchi, we see a mix of local people and those traveling from nearby villages. We don't have a fancy waiting room with coffee machines. It's just a place to get work done. Sometimes we go out to the local stalls for tea during the break. The rhythm of the day depends on who walks through the door. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just an office where business happens in a very simple, direct way. We've been here for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon.
