Mecon Ltd

If you find yourself in Ranchi and head over to Doranda, you will likely see the Mecon Colony. That is where we are, specifically at A.D.E G-109/110. It is a pretty quiet spot compared to the main city center. Being in Shyamali is nice because there are a lot of trees and it feels a bit more like a community than just a place of business. We’ve been here at Mecon Ltd for some time now. The office is basically where we spend most of our lives, five or six days a week. It isn't a very large space, just enough for the desks and the equipment we need to do our daily tasks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy decorations. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to it, but the work comes first. Most of our day is spent dealing with the local projects and making sure the numbers match up. We know the postman by name and he knows exactly where to drop our mail. It’s a simple life here in the 834002 area. Sometimes we grab snacks from the nearby stalls when the afternoon slump hits. We don't have any grand statements to make about what we do. We just show up, do the work, and hope for a smooth day without too many technical glitches. It is a practical way to live and work in Jharkhand.
