National Engg Works

National Engg Works is based at 8/A in the New Industrial Estate at Tupudana, Hatia. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but this is where the heavy work gets done. We are an engineering shop that deals with all sorts of mechanical parts and repairs for the local industry. Our space is filled with lathes, drills, and welding equipment that we use every day. The walls are a bit stained from years of oil and smoke, which is normal for a place like this. We handle a variety of local jobs for other businesses in the Hatia area. Some days are spent fixing broken equipment that someone brought in on a tractor, and other days we are fabricating new parts from scratch. We don't have a professional secretary or a glossy brochure to show people. If you call us, you’ll probably hear the machines running in the background. It is a noisy place, especially in the afternoons when everyone is busy. The guys working here are good with their hands and don't mind getting them dirty. We try to keep our costs down so we can stay competitive in this market. The road to the industrial estate can be rough sometimes, but we are always here. We just want to do decent work that lasts for our customers. It’s not about being the biggest, just about being reliable enough that people come back when they need something made.
