Maa Durga Medico

Maa Durga Medico is located right on the corner where Itki Road meets Ratu Road here in Ranchi. It is a busy spot, mostly because we are sitting right opposite Keshari Nursing Home. You can see the cars and rickshaws piling up outside all day long. We started this place because this part of town needed a reliable spot to get prescriptions filled without a lot of fuss. Most of our day is spent looking through handwritten notes from doctors and finding the right boxes on the shelves. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock we have to keep, but we make it work. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in Ranchi, but we have our backups ready. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a place that the locals can count on. The noise from the main road is always there in the background while we talk to customers. A lot of people coming from the nursing home stop in here first. We see a lot of worried faces, so we just try to get them what they need quickly so they can get back home. It’s a straightforward business. We keep the counters clean and the medicine organized. If you’re passing through Ratu Road, you’ll see our sign right there near the junction. It's not a flashy store, but it gets the job done for our neighbors.
