Luck Classes

Birsa Chowk is one of the busiest spots you can find in Ranchi, and that’s where Luck Classes is located. There’s always a lot of traffic and people moving around the chowk, which makes it easy for students to find us. We’re just on one of the floors of the building there. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s good exercise. The rooms are filled with old-style wooden desks that have some carvings from students over the years. We haven't changed much about the place since we started. It has a very lived-in feel to it. There’s a small balcony where we sometimes stand to get some fresh air between classes. You can see the whole chowk from there. We don't have a huge marketing budget or anything. Most of the people who come here are the younger siblings of former students. It’s a very word-of-mouth kind of thing. We just focus on the daily lessons. Sometimes we run out of markers or the fan starts making a weird clicking noise, but we just fix it and move on. It’s not a fancy corporate office, it’s just a place where people come to learn and get their work done. We keep our records in big paper ledgers and try to stay on top of the schedule. That’s about it for our life here.
