Grans Classes

Grans Classes is situated on Circular Road in the Nagara Toli area of Ranchi. If you know the 834001 area, you know it gets quite crowded with people going about their business. Our place is just one of many along this stretch of road. We have a few rooms where we hold our sessions. Nothing fancy to look at, just walls and some benches for sitting. We started this because there wasn't much else around the neighborhood at the time. Usually, the mornings are the quietest time before the street noise really picks up. Nagara Toli has its own vibe and we feel like we belong right here. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, but we just carry on with what we were doing. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. People mostly just hear about us from their neighbors or see the name when they are walking to the market. The address is easy to remember since Circular Road is a main path for most folks in Ranchi. Inside, it smells a bit like chalk and old paper. We spend our hours here going over lessons and checking work. It’s a regular job for us. We make sure the doors are unlocked on time and that there’s enough water in the cooler for everyone. It’s just a local spot for learning without any of the extra bells and whistles you see in the bigger cities.
