Laxmi Minerals

Laxmi Minerals is set up in the Patrapu Industrial Area, which is just off the main Ranchi-Ramgarh Road. Being in an industrial area means it’s not exactly the cleanest or quietest place to work, but it suits what we do with minerals just fine. There are always big trucks moving in and out of the area and the roads can get pretty muddy when it rains. We are close enough to Ranchi that it’s not a long drive to get into the city, but far enough out that we have the space we need for our operations. The building we have is mostly just for storage and basic processing and it’s a bit rough around the edges like most places in this part of Patrapu. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for years and we just get on with the job. The air can get a bit thick with dust from all the industrial activity around us, so we usually wear masks when things get busy. We don’t really have a showroom or anything like that because most of our work is done directly with other industrial businesses. It’s a straightforward way of working and we don't spend much time on anything that isn't related to the minerals we handle. It’s just how things go in this part of the district and we are used to the noise and the dust. We start early and finish when the work is done.
