Johnson Tiles[H & R Johnson(India) Ltd]

We are located in the New A.G. Cooperative Colony in Kadru, Ranchi. The address is 168, and we’re set up there care of D. Pandeya. It’s a residential-feeling area but we use the space for managing the tile business in this part of Jharkhand. There are always samples of different ceramic and floor tiles leaning against the walls. It’s a bit cramped sometimes because of all the stock we try to keep on hand for people to look at. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical spot where customers can come and see the actual products before they buy them. The colony is usually pretty quiet, which makes it a decent place to work without too many distractions. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the main H & R Johnson hubs and making sure the deliveries for Ranchi are on track. Sometimes the shipments get delayed on the road, which is frustrating, but we do our best to keep everyone informed. The staff here is small, just a few of us who know the tile catalogs inside and out. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just provide a local point for people to get their flooring sorted. It’s a straightforward operation and we’ve been part of this community for a while now, helping people pick out what they need for their homes. The office is simple and we keep things moving.
