Guddu Pharma

Guddu Pharma is a small shop on the ground floor on H.B Road in Ranchi. We are tucked away in the Dipatoli area, very close to the Army Second Gate. If you are walking or driving past that gate, you’ll see our sign. It is a simple place, mostly just shelves full of medicine boxes and a counter where we stand. We spend most of our day reading doctors' handwriting and looking for specific bottles. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to neighbors who stop in. Being near the army base means we see a lot of different people coming through. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many different tablets and syrups, it's a constant task. We don’t have fancy displays or bright flashing lights. It’s just a neighborhood pharmacy where people come to get what they need. Sometimes we have to tell people we’re out of something and wait for the delivery truck to arrive from the main distributor. That’s just the way it goes. We’ve been here in Dipatoli for a while now, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. It’s a steady job, and we like being a part of the daily life on H.B Road. It feels good to be the place people rely on when they aren't feeling well.
