Ganpati Basia

You can find Ganpati Basia over on Purana Station Road. We are situated in the Jai Bala Kumkum area, and the Bogusa Mandir is a very close landmark for us. You can often hear the bells from the temple during the morning and evening prayers. It gives the whole street a nice feeling. Being on the old station road means there is a lot of history around us, even if the area is a bit worn down in places. Our shop isn't anything fancy; it’s just a place where we keep our stock and meet with people. We have a lot of different items that we handle, and sometimes they spill out toward the front. The road is always busy with cycles and people walking to and from the temple or the market area. We have a simple sign out front and we keep the place open for long hours. The neighborhood has a busy, lived-in feel. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We are just a local business on Purana Station Road. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep things organized despite the limited space. It’s a busy, noisy, but good place to be. There's always something going on outside our door, and we just fit right into the daily rhythm of the street.
