We are set up over in Kalal Toli on Church Road. It’s right there at Karbala Chowk in Ranchi. If you know where the Peace Banquet Hall is, we are just a short distance from there. We’ve been working out of this space for some time now. It’s a decent area, though the traffic at the chowk can get a bit wild during the middle of the day. The office itself is where we do all our drawings and planning. We have a lot of samples and papers lying around because that’s just the nature of architecture and interior work. It’s not one of those super clean, minimalist offices you see in magazines; it’s a place where real work actually happens. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and going out to sites around Ranchi to see how things are going. Church Road is a good central spot for us. We know most of the people running the shops around here. Sometimes we have clients come in to look at sketches, and we just clear a bit of space on the big table for them. It’s a practical setup. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational firm. We’re just local people who know how buildings here are put together. We take our time with the details and try to make sure everything we design actually works for the people living in them. It's about being useful and doing the job right. We stay busy enough without needing to show off.
