Bharath Agritech Farms Llp

Our office is on the ground floor of Plot No. 323, over on 12th Main Road in Ram Nagar South Extension, Pallikaranai. It’s a bit different from a traditional farm because we are right here in the city extension. We focus on the tech side of things for farming. It’s not all dirt and tractors for us; we spend a lot of time on the computer or out visiting different farm sites to see how things are going. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and a lot of equipment lying around. We started this because we saw how much technology could help people back in the villages. Sometimes the tech works great, and sometimes we have to spend all day fixing a bug or a broken piece of gear. It’s a small team of us here. We don't have a fancy dress code. Most days we are just in t-shirts and jeans, trying to figure out the best way to help a farmer improve their yield. Pallikaranai is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street coming in. We keep our doors open and people stop by to ask questions about what we are doing. It’s a mix of agricultural knowledge and trying to stay up to date with new tools. We just want to bridge that gap between the old ways and the new stuff coming out. It’s a constant learning process.
