Widewell Industries

Started Widewell Industries back in the day because we needed something steady. We are tucked away at Survey No. 275 in the Galaxy Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot, mostly trucks and the sound of iron all day. Most mornings start with a quick check on the inventory before the guys arrive. The roof leaks a bit when it pours, but we manage. People know us as the place near the bend in the road. We do a lot of heavy lifting here. It’s not fancy work, just honest parts and pieces. Sometimes the power goes out and we sit outside on the plastic chairs until it comes back. You get used to the grease and the noise after a while. My father used to say that if the floor is dirty, it means work is getting done. We have a few machines that have been with us since the beginning. They still run fine if you know how to talk to them. The neighborhood has changed a lot, with more shops now than ten years ago. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out. It’s a living, and it’s what we know. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll probably see me or my nephew sorting through the scrap. It gets dusty in the summer, but the tea guy comes by at four, so that is the highlight of the afternoon for everyone here.
