Down in Veraval - Shapar, specifically within the Vruj Industrial Area, you’ll find our factory. We are located at Survey No 121/1 on SIDC Road. It’s a very busy industrial belt with a lot of noise, dust, and smoke, but that’s just where this kind of work has to happen. At Vision Plast Industries, we mainly deal with plastic molding and making various types of household items that people use every day. The machines run pretty much all day and sometimes into the night if we have a big order to finish. It gets incredibly hot in the summer, especially when you're standing near the injection units, but we have some big industrial fans to keep the air moving. My brother and I took over the place a few years back. It’s a lot of responsibility keeping the old machines running and making sure the raw plastic granules arrive on time from the suppliers. We don't use any fancy management techniques or software. We just walk around the floor, talk to the guys, and make sure the items coming off the line look okay. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night covered in grease trying to fix it ourselves because the specialist is based too far away. That’s just the reality of running a small plant like this. We provide parts to a few local brands and some wholesalers in the city. The road outside gets really muddy.
