Our shop is number 8, up on the first floor of the Haridwar Shopping Centre. It’s right across from the Gokulnath Gate, so there is always something interesting to see out the window. The shopping centre gets pretty crowded on the weekends with families, but during the week, it’s mostly just us and the other shop owners trying to stay busy. Being on the first floor is okay, though we have to carry everything up the stairs since there isn't a big elevator for moving heavy items. We have a small space, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of stuff in there over the years. It’s mostly desks and shelves filled with parts and tools we use every day. Sometimes the lighting in the hallway isn’t the best, but inside the shop, we’ve got plenty of lamps to see what we’re doing. We’ve been here for a while, and we know the guys in the shops next to us pretty well. We often grab a snack or some tea from one of the vendors near the gate during our lunch break. It’s not a very big operation, just a few of us working together to get things done. We try to keep things tidy, but it always gets a bit messy when we are really busy with work. You can hear the traffic and the people shouting down at the gate all day, which makes the time go by faster. We just focus on our tasks and stay organized.
