Vinod Machine Tools

You can find us at Plot No-4 in the Mavdi Plot area of Rajkot. We are right near Kishor Oil Mill, which most people use as a landmark to get here. This part of Udyognagar is always loud with the sound of machinery and metalwork. Vinod Machine Tools is our small contribution to the industrial life here. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s a workshop through and through. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it from the work we do. We handle various machine tools and parts that people in the area need. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing around benches. We’ve been at this for quite a long time now. Most of our customers are other small business owners from around Rajkot who need something fixed or a specific part made. We don't bother with fancy uniforms; we just wear what works for getting dirty. The summer heat in the shed can be quite something, but we have a few big fans to keep the air moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We open up early and usually stay until the work for the day is finished. Sometimes that means staying late if a machine is being stubborn. We just take things as they come and try to keep our neighbors in the industrial estate happy.
