Abhishek Jadwani Photography

I’ve been doing this photography thing for a good while now. My studio is tucked away on Vidhya Nagar Main Road, specifically on Street No. 2. It’s a busy enough area, but my spot stays relatively quiet unless we have a big group in. My name is Abhishek, and I basically run the whole show here. Most days involve me sitting at my desk looking at raw files or cleaning my lenses. I have a lot of bags and tripods leaning against the walls. It isn’t the most organized place in the world, but I know where everything is. People come to me when they need pictures for whatever is happening in their lives. I don’t use those scripted lines you hear from big studios. I just tell people to stand where the light looks decent and try not to blink. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy with the traffic on the main road, but once the door is shut, it’s fine. I spend a lot of time charging batteries and making sure my memory cards aren't full. It’s a lot more manual work than people think. I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from my doorstep on Street No. 2. I like being part of the local scene here. It’s just me and my cameras, trying to make things look okay on screen. There’s always a cup of tea on my desk that’s gone cold because I got busy.
